Students on University of Plymouth Foundation Degree programmes can access information on additional learning skills resources, as well as support and information on workshops, through the university's Learning Development service. You will need your university username and password to access these.

Ask a Librarian
A growing network of public libraries from all over the UK provide on-line help with specific enquiries 24 hours a day. Ask a question on a particular aspect of your subject area - to a maximum of three questions a day - and you'll receive an answer within two working days. Make sure you read the tips section before going to Contact Us to ask your question.

Internet Instructor
One of a set of tutorials from the Virtual Training Suite, with sections on search engines, web directories and subject gateways. Tutorial takes one hour to complete, including quizzes and interactive exercises.
