International students

There is a warm welcome for International Students in Plymouth, especially on the Marine Studies degree programmes.

Our Merchant Shipping, Ocean Yachting and Navigation degrees are designed for students who expect to work in truly international industries.

International Office

The International Office was established in January 1991 in order to administer the rapid internationalisation process occurring across the University's campuses. The Office now provides an invaluable resource to students from over 120 countries.

International Office staff assist and support international students before and after their arrival. The specialist team are available to offer friendly, expert advice on:

• immigration and visa regulations
• travel arrangements
• financial matters
• living in the UK
