Posting of Lecture Notes, Resources and Announcements

(Note: All lectures are now on Blackboard. These pages are being retained temporarily to meet occasional need
and to give access to the PowerPoint and Acrobat Viewers)

Thank you to those students who have drawn to our attention to the frustration of checking for new postings on the Student Portal caused by the slow access experienced by many students working with a narrow band connection from home. This page is an attempt to address this problem. When a new item is posted on the portal an effort will be made to record the fact here. Items will be sorted in declining order of date posted - in other words the latest postings will be at the top of the table regardless of the date of a presentation. It will still be necessary to go to the Portal to access the files.

I will also renew efforts to return to posting lecture notes in a SENDA compliant format which can be readily dropped into any word processor. These will be indicated by .rtf in the format column. This will not be possible where there is significant information rich content in graphical format i.e. graphs, diagrams and photographs with essential content.

Please be aware that this facility may only be temporary as the future of the Millbrook site is under review by UoP. Please also be aware that where a staff member makes their own posting it may not appear on this checklist. I have also included links to download the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer and Adobe Acrobat Reader should you require them.
