The EL CETL’s Staff Reward funds were made available to support any activity that:

• benefits professional and personal development in learning and teaching
• relates to the CETL’s broad themes of experiential learning
• has a positive impact on the student experience

 

Staff Rewards have been used, for example, for:

• short-term assistance in developing teaching materials
• visits to other HE institutions to learn from colleagues
• professional training in equipment and methods
• visits to other HE institutions to learn from colleagues
• equipment purchase or loan of data of samples for teaching
• pilot studies for larger development activities
