The Tamar Shared Field Resource
The River Tamar was identified as a focus of the EL CETL’s work in developing local fieldwork. It was chosen partly because of its proximity, its environmental characteristics and industrial and cultural history, but also because the area is at the centre of several major initiatives that encompass issues of environment, heritage, tourism, regeneration and sustainability. Throughout it's duration, the EL CETL has successfully formed partnerships with the organisations running these projects, including the Tamar Valley AONB, South West Water, the Environment Agency and the Tamar Estuary Consultative Forum in order to develop resources, facilities and information.
